On 22–23 September 2026, Green Circle partners gathered in Xanthi, Greece, for the project’s 4th Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) at its University Campus in Kimmeria. The two-day meeting provided an important opportunity for the consortium to review the progress achieved so far and coordinate the remaining activities as the project moves towards completion.

A major focus of the first day was Work Package 5 and the piloting of the Green Circle micro-credentials. Partners reviewed the progress of the pilot activities, the work completed so far and the remaining steps towards finalising the related outputs. Discussions also focused on the structure of the guidance material, partner contributions, quality assurance and the timeline for completing the remaining activities.

As part of the programme, partners visited the DUTH SeiSMeCon Laboratory, where they had the opportunity to learn more about demonstrations linked to university courses and the development of green construction skills.

The second day focused on the project’s final implementation, management and sustainability activities. Partners reviewed the overall project status, reporting and evaluation requirements, preparations for the Final Conference, and the actions needed to ensure the smooth completion of the project. Discussions also addressed the sustainability of Green Circle and how its results can continue to create value beyond the funded period.

Under Work Package 6 – Communication, Dissemination, Impact and Exploitation, partners reviewed dissemination progress, the communication of project results and courses, and the next steps for strengthening the project’s impact and exploitation.

The meeting concluded with a joint wrap-up session, during which partners agreed on the timeline, responsibilities and next steps for the final stage of Green Circle. Beyond the formal sessions, the meeting also offered valuable opportunities for exchange and networking among partners, further strengthening collaboration across the consortium.

A warm thank you to Democritus University of Thrace for hosting the meeting in Xanthi and for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to all partners throughout the two days!
