The Green Circle consortium gathered in Logroño, Spain, on 1–2 July 2025 for the project’s Second Transnational Meeting, hosted by the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR).
The two-day event combined productive discussions, field visits, and local experiences, all aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing the project’s mission to build green skills and promote sustainability in Europe’s construction sector.
Meeting Highlights
• Kick-off at UNIR Headquarters
Partners were welcomed at UNIR’s main campus for the official opening. Sessions focused on reviewing project progress and sharing updates from Work Packages 3–6, including notable achievements in microcredential development, pilot activities, and dissemination efforts.
• Networking with a Taste of Rioja
The first day concluded with a friendly networking dinner at the Wine Fandango restaurant, where partners enjoyed local cuisine, shared experiences, and strengthened their professional ties in a relaxed setting.
• Exploring Innovation on Site
The second day, organised by ARANSA, took partners to several construction sites across Logroño — covering residential, healthcare, and educational buildings. These visits provided valuable insights into real construction challenges, many of which could be addressed through the Green Circle microcredentials, illustrating the project’s practical relevance for the industry.
• Sharing Reflections and Planning Ahead
The meeting wrapped up with a reflection session, where partners reviewed progress, identified next priorities, and outlined the roadmap for the coming months. The event ended on a positive note with a farewell drink back at Wine Fandango, celebrating teamwork and shared achievements.
