In recent years, microcredentials have appeared as one of the new innovations in education and training. They can offer flexibility and targeted learning opportunities that are aligned to new skill demands, especially in sectors where traditional education has been left behind.
But as microcredentials reshape the future of learning, important questions arise:
1. How can we promise their relevance to the labour market?
2. What mechanisms can offer quality assurance?
3. And how do we make sure that no learner is left behind as SDGs are mentioning?
